The other day, someone asked me how to become wealthy. In order not to confuse or overwhelm that person, I said there were only three steps, namely:
1) Learn to be good in sales
When you’re good at selling, you will survive no matter where you go. In fact, many a CEO has sales in their resume. Oh, did I tell you that when you’re in business, the first thing you need to know is how to sell? Whether it’s your products, services, or ideas, you will still need to sell. So, master the skills in selling. You can thank me after that.
2) Choose an industry
Not just any industry, but a sector that is essential, going with the trends and preferably something you can see yourself doing for a long time. Otherwise, you may end up being a good but miserable salesperson.
3) Choose the group of people you want to work with
This is important if you want to leverage your efforts. Because no matter how good you are, your income will be limited by time. So, you can either make 100% profit based on your sales effort or 30% based on 10 of your people’s efforts. However, getting people to join you requires both selling and leadership skills.
