A simple secret to increasing your sales

Have you heard of the law called “The Law of the Instrument”?

The Law of Instrument says that everything is a nail to a person whose only tool is a hammer.

For example. Do you know of anyone who sees everyone as an unhealthy (or sick) person needing his supplements ever since he joins a health supplement direct sales company? 

Or are you that person I’m talking about? If you are, here’s some data you need to know. 

According to research, only 15% of people who buy within two years after knowing a product/service do it in the first 90 days.

In other words, everyone else – 85% of people who buy – don’t purchase until AFTER 90 days.

So, if you treat everyone as your prospects and start pushing or promoting your products every day to them – either face-to-face or via social media platforms, you will turn away 85% of your potential buyers.

And after 90 days, when this 85% are ready to buy, do you think they will buy from you when you’re the very person who turned them off? Heck, some may have unfollowed you on LinkedIn, just like I did.

Of course, if you’re only interested in closing the 15%, all power to you. Toot all you want, to everyone you know, every day.

But if you’re more interested in the 85%, this is the simple secret to eventually closing them – remove the damned hammer from your hand and start treating them as your friends, not prospects.
