What I’ve learned about relationships while doing FB ads for clients.
“Why did you write a 500-word FB ad for your client? Isn’t it too long for an ad?” asked a friend.
I told her that an effective FB ad must not only encourage the right prospects to click on a link, but it must also discourage the wrong ones from clicking since each time someone clicked on the link, FB would charge my client.
So, having the wrong prospects click would only mean extra cost for my client.
I don’t know about you, but this is how I build relationships, too – selective.
I only want to attract like-minded people. People who aren’t, I don’t want them to come near me because having to patronise people who are not like-minded can be both time-wasting and energy-draining.
This is also how I write my posts – to attract like-minded people. People who aren’t probably aren’t reading this post anyway; they’ve probably unfriended or unfollowed me already.
What about you? Do you welcome everyone into your life? Or are you selective, too?
