Happiness is:
The ability to travel anywhere I want, when I want, and with whom I want. But you will not be able to do this if you don’t have financial freedom.
The luxury of choosing to work in a job I love that doesn’t pay me well without worrying about making ends meet. But this is not possible without a big, fat bank account or someone making that ends meet for you.
To wake up when I finish sleeping, instead of to the annoying sound of the alarm clock. But you have no choice because you need the income to pay your bills.
To order food based on the left side of the menu instead of the right. But if you have a limited budget, the right side of the menu will determine your food choices.
Yes. Money may not be able to make you happy, at least not directly. But it gives you more options, and one of them can most likely make you happy.
So, can money buy happiness?
I suppose it all depends on how you define happiness.
